Next Rotation?

As we're entering our last week of this rotation I want to hear your thoughts on delish. So, if you could all just answer the following questions in the comment section, that would be great!

1. Do you want to continue choosing recipes from the Good Eats cookbook? What are your general thoughts about this book?
2. Do you like the structure of delish? Would you rather make it more or less formal?
3. Danielle and I have been tossing around the idea of making delish more of a place where we all submit recipes we like and recommend from any cookbook. Do you like this idea?
4. Do you find it too hard to make the recipes in the one week time frame?
5. What is your favorite and least favorite part of delish?

Thanks a bunch! I'll post my thoughts down there later in the week, but I would love to know what you guys have to say!

I'm tired of it.

I don't mind the rotation but in my situation I only cook once a week at most. So I'm different from most members.

I like that idea.
4. Do you find it too hard to make the recipes in the one week time frame?
Yes
5. What is your favorite and least favorite part of delish?
I like seeing everyones comments and additions or subsitutions to a recipe.

I'm tired of Alton ;)

1. I think Good Eats is a good resource boook- I've learned lots of interesting tidbits from Alton- but I don't like many of his recipes. Most aren't things I'd make on a daily basis.

2. I think less formal would be better. More people might participate.

3. I like this idea. Following a specific cookbook is difficult, especially if you don't own the cookbook. I get most of my dinner recipe ideas from other food blogs. I like recipes that are tried and true and that I can see myself actually making regularly, even on a busy day.

4. One week isn't too bad, though I often find myself making the chosen recipes 1-2 weeks later, especially the desserts.

5. I like that it encourages me to make new meals, and it has helped broaden my cooking skills. I like to see other people's experiences with cooking.

1. I don't like the book much. The recipes don't transfer well to daily cooking, in my opinion.
2. I think the structure is fine.
3. Definitely. When I cook I like to read what other people think about the recipe, what changes they've made, and what works and doesn't. I would love to see how everyone alters recipes to suit themselves.
4. I don't cook often enough to be able to make one recipe a week, but I do aim for two a month.
5. Like Jen, I love to see comments and substitutions. I like learning new recipes, but I don't care to learn recipes I know I'll never make again.

I think it would be cool if people just posted recipes they like. It would be fun to try recipes I know are good ones already tested by you people.

And I like the cooking community of delish.

1. I don't like the recipes that much although it is very informative.
2. I like posting a new recipe every so often, but for some reason I have a hard time posting other than my assigned week. I try most of the recipes, but I never get around to posting about them. So I would probably will not do next rotation. I do love the feed back others leave about the recipes, and I reference it when I make those recipes.
3. I loved the recipes that others posted every other week I have found some really great go to recipes for dinners. However, I like stepping outside my comfort zone with these other cookbooks. I just don't have time to try those more difficult recipes every week maybe once a month.
4. Sometimes, mostly because I will have already gone grocery shopping for the week.
5. I love the feedback people give it really helps with cooking. I also love getting recipes that are tried and true from other cooks. Finally, I like that it has made me step outside my comfort zone and cook differently with different items.

1. I've liked trying out Good Eats but I wouldn't mind moving on to something else now.
2. I like the structure
3. I think this idea is a good one, since people will want to share the recipes they really like and work well for them.
4. Yes, somewhat--I think it's a lot because my shopping day is late in the week, though.
5. Delish is really all positives for me. I like having to try things that I wouldn't try otherwise and I like sharing what happened with me in the kitchen and reading about others' experiences. And I think it's fun to keep up with friends via food. :D

1. I like Good Eats. I feel like some of the recipes are a lot of work but others are very fast. My husband likes this cookbook, which is awesome.
2. I like the structure but am bummed when people don't try my recipe.
3. Yeah, I like it. I think it would be nice to have more recipes in my daily life.
4. I'm okay making them in the week. I grocery shop on Mondays, so that works.
5. I love to see what everyone chooses for the recipe and why. I don't like my flops. And I've had many.
